On Thursday of this week past, I went for a little road trip with my husband and my sister. I am pretty dang lucky to be able to spend most of my time with two of my most favourite people in the world, aren’t I?!

We went to visit our good friends Marty and Bruce, who live in the Barossa Valley.

The countryside is just so beautiful. On the way there, we saw vineyards and almond blossoms lining up in rows beside the highway. It was a lovely dreary day.

When we got there, Marty and Bruce had prepared an amazing happybirthdayjessica spread, which featured some delicious local wine and produce, and some warm freshly baked bread. YUM.

And, oh. my. Their house is just so cool. Imagine living there and waking in the morning, making a cup of tea, and sitting in the morning sun and reading a book. Or snuggling up on the couch with some wine by the fire at night. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful place to live?!

After this lovely little lunch, we left the Barossa with Marty in tow, and headed back to Adelaide. We went comic book shopping, and beer drinking in the city.

What a lovely day!

Hey, have you entered my give away yet? Or liked Other Such Things on Facebook? You should!

There’s only one more day to enter.

Anyway, Happy Sunday to you, wherever you are.

x Jessica

what a joy it is to have those special moments that can take us by surprise. like a green meddow, birds in your back yard singing while you blistfully sit in awe soaking up nature. Spending time with your best friend and lifes partner knowing that it never matters if you are in your best atire or your scruffy pjs you are loved and welcomed. I supose its a feeling of trust and love. An’t life grand!
