We’ve decided that Ginger is actually a catdog, living in a rabbit’s body.
Sometimes she’ll completely snob you – if you haven’t gone to say hello in a day, or if she is too busy digging holes in the back yard, or if you only bring her carrots to snack on. She hates carrots.
Other times, you go outside to walk to the lemon tree, and she will run around you in tight circles, waiting to jab her soft nose under your foot; hoping to goodness for a head rub.
If you indulge her, she’ll flatten her body to the ground and stay like that until you stop. But you have to keep your whits about you – if you slow down, or get distracted, she’ll thump her feet on the ground, or give you a solid nudge with her head, to get the party started again.
